"I've been working at Target since August of 2012 and I've loved almost every minute of it. The atmosphere and coworkers are great. I would suggest anyone to work at Target to start off their career or just to put some money in their pocket while in school."

"I enjoy working with everyone, helping customers."

What do you like about working at Target?

"I like the people I work with. It can be a fun job."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just that if they expect a lot of hours, don't. Unless you're full time, which isn't of people who are. I do enjoy this company, but want to move up."

What don't you like about working at Target?

"I don't like how there isn't much room for me to grow in my position. Also that they seem to overlook you if you have no degree. I have the experience, but no degree. I don't agree with that."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think if they just communicate better with each other and that they all do the same thing."

HR Executive

"Day to day is GREAT... but career opportunity is non-existent."

What do you like about working at Target?

"The people in store I worked at, plus the other ETL-HR's in the two districts. There is a LOT of team support between them even if not from the HRBP."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Try to partner with other ETL's in other stores for support. There is a wealth of information and talent in the stores and they are often better at helping with development and training than the District personnel."

What don't you like about working at Target?

"Politics at the District office between the District personnel and Store Managers. If you are unlikely enough to be put in a store where the DM and SM are fighting, you will feel the brunt of it at store level."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Need to focus more on personal and professional development for ETL's to show them they have a REAL career with Target and less of a focus on the politics of a store."
