What do you like about working at University of Montana?
"I liked that I could basically set my own schedule and I had a great relationship with my boss and most of my coworkers."

"Own it. Just go in there, quiet your nerves, and own your interview."
What don't you like about working at University of Montana?
"I didn't like that I didn't hardly make any money, especially after hearing that the person I replaced and others in my same job level made substantially more than I did. I also didn't like that there just wasn't much for me to do."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop being so shady with the budget and blowing money that is meant for other things and maybe pay your student employees more. Teach them more also."
What do you like about working at OLDCASTLE BUILDING ENVELOPE?
"I enjoy the people and the culture. I like the managerial style of my present employer. She is results oriented, but does not micro manage."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"My only advice for the interviewee would be to be honest and forthcoming with your experience and skill sets. Even if the potential hire is not qualified for a particular position, the company is very good at identifying talented individuals and placing them in the correct positions."
What don't you like about working at OLDCASTLE BUILDING ENVELOPE?
"Because the company is publicly traded, the IT department has to adhere to strict SOX compliance. I understand this is a neccessity in today's political and economic culture, but I feel the regulations greatly diminish the level of customer support the IT department is able to provide. However, it is always best to strive for 100% customer satisfaction regardless of the barriers that may be in place."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest that managers utilize software solutions to track the efficiency of their subordinates and monitor progression toward company goals. However, managers should give their employees enough room to investigate innovative solutions to daily concerns and long-term goals."

"The owners were only interested in what they could put in there pockets."

"none, Management was great in the handling of the staff related issues."

"Government funded mean great benefits and the pay is not as good"

"Just Be Yourself and and don't embellish your skills for they will ask in detail of what you can do."

"The distance was too far. Main Office IT didn't feel like a team. It was like we were two separate IT teams."

"Treat the other locations more like team members. The non main locations weren't treated like part of the team."
