"Its not the Company, It is more the climate environment in Germany."

"The company is awesome. The company vision is starting to skew slightly. It is still the most respected car company in the world."

"The company culture does not always transfer to management. Each manager is pretty much free to do as they please. So, it's difficult to create any global tips. New managers are not confident and feel threatened by those that are. Established managers are set in their ways and want you to already know what they know and think how they do. Most of the upper management are just afraid. The ultimate tip would be to read The Toyota Way book."
What don't you like about working at Toyota?
"New management brings in non Japanese work ethics. This creates confusion as you try to work with all the different cultures."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to the people actually doing the work. They are the ones in the trenches and will be most affected by your decisions."

"Getting laid off because of a merger with a larger company. Otherwise it was a good place to work."

"Streamline processes and get better organized. Too much time and money were wasted because everyone was not following standard operating procedures."

"No room for advancement. Lack of policies or procedures. Inability of some employees to accept change by means of improving daily processes."

"Manager would blame others for lack of leadership and run off several good workers. Did not know how to manager consultants."

"Ask in-depth questions about your role and ensure you get proper compensation for the role. Ignore your title."

"Pay is not that great for the responsibilities and insurance costs are extremely high out of pocket"

"Plan on charging more fees to our clients, while improving services tremendously, and make sure the fees do end up on all lower employees' pay checks."
