"I dont have any specific tips, the store actually closed its doors so this would an be irrelivant question and unfair to aswer, I worked there more than 10 yrs ago"
What don't you like about working at Quiznos?
"Standing on my feet 12 hours a day, haveing employees call out sick and me having to cover thier shift."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Lower Prices to keep customers coming into the store. Have more specials to allow for more customers to afford lunch."

"I enjoy that there's excellent team work and collaboration between different levels of management and employees at CVS Pharmacy."

"CVS Pharmacy is always looking for high-spirited individuals that are committed and dedicated to learning and mastering the company's mission, vision, and goals."
What don't you like about working at CVS?
"I dislike when I have to work over 70 hours a week."

"They do a phenomenal job and are a fast-paced technologically evolving company, which is very exciting."

"Just be aware that although a future employee may be told that there will be opportunity options, there will not be."

"no opportunity for growth...no health benefits or retirement benefits.. Dead end position"

"I would recomment providing additional services to customers to broaden employees knowledge units and allow them further future opportunities"

"It was very fast paced. Enjoyed working and learning new things eveyrday. Lot of resources available for both improvement of the store and self."

"Always be yourself, stay honest. Showcase your strengths and have an action plan to improve your opportunities"

"Sometimes due to having a huge District team- there was confliction information that we recieved."

"Always focus on developing your team. Keep them informed, educated so they are empowered to make decisions."

"Had fun working enviroment and tools to sale and provide for customer."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Good company but not well compensated. An avg store manger earned under $40k and had alot of responsibility. Use your background to achievehigher starting pay because they will paint a great picture about comission but only select stores have the volume to give potential pay. It can be a good career if you dont mind starting less than $40k as a store manager and carrying the responsinilities"
What don't you like about working at O'Reilly Auto Parts?
"Compensation!As a store manager,always were limited by using volume sales of store to lower your base pay from store to store since pay was commission based to keep you at certain level of pay."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Comission should be used as an incentive and not a crutch for advancement."
What do you like about working at Starbucks?
"Interacting with customers, creating schedules that worked with everyone's personality to make sure that the team could flow well. Making sure that the order came in, and keeping it organized. Anticipating customer needs and reactions."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"My experience was that the laziest people tended to get promoted first, because they schmoozed management. And if you perform better than your boss, BEWARE. You're not going to get a promotion, you're going to get fired."
What don't you like about working at Starbucks?
"My manager was very overbearing, it was like working under a microscope. I loved everything else, but having to jump hurdles to do my basic tasks was frustrating. I especially hated having to argue over every tiny change."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to the employees more, making sure that they had what they needed to get the job done. Especially making sure that they were happy, because it improves performance. Being able to change the stores to accommodate different needs."

"I like the consistent challenges with new projects throughout the year. I like being a leader and able to educate and train the new talents ahead for the future of the company."

"You must be a smart and hard worker available seven days to work, and not be afraid of learning new products on a daily basis."
What don't you like about working at Home Depot?
"My dislikes are: must be able to know the best and worst of the business, not able to give the real talent a chance to grow in position, and changing management too soon."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Communicate in a more positive, constructive way. Identify the strength and weakness of the individual talents (not a quick fix for staffing)."
What do you like about working at Dollar General?
"I like the customer interaction, team atmosphere within the store, and the physical tasks."

"There are a lot of positive aspects with this company. However, if applying with Dollar General, I advise spending time speaking with current employees at the location you are applying with and taking the time to carefully consider if it is a good fit for you."
What don't you like about working at Dollar General?
"They offer no support, they do not allow enough labor dollars to successfully manage a store, and they do not treat all employees equally."

"Listen to your team, be aware of their opinions and respect them, even if you do not agree with those opinions."

"The new warehouse that I get my trucks from is not packed well."

"The payroll needs to be more where there can at least be three people in the stores at all times."

"suggestion: build your team, dont inherit one or accept the team that was left over unless you are happy with them"

"The people, the coffee, the culture and prestige of working for Starbucks."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would say, that Starbucks (at least in my area) is VERY politically driven. You have to get in tight with the District Manager if you want to go anywhere. If not, or if you have a challenge with an employee, you're locked down. Expect the employees to rule. As a manager your word means very little and your employees can mislead and misguide upper management about you at any time. That's what I would say. It's a great company but it's very politically driven."
What don't you like about working at Starbucks?
"Right now, everything is not so good. I'm not happy here."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to the employees. Not make so many rapid changes without an explanation. Care about the store level, because that is where all of the change really takes place."

"No two days were ever exactly the same. A consistent mental challenge on many differing levels: some good some bad."

"If you are planning on staying in the Colorado Springs area with 7-Eleven, you promotion opportunities are very limited"

"There were a lack of advancement opportunities available in the Colorado Springs area and in order to move up to corporate positions, one must advance beyond store management first."

"Provide your staff with a realistic set of professional goals that are attainable."

"The interviews are behavioral. Listen closely to what they really want in the answer, write notes as you go along"

"It is sometimes too big that the smaller problems are made to be minimal and not looked upon."

"Meet with Store Managers and below to find out what you can do to assist them."
