"I worked for the Starbucks located at the UCSB Campus for a year while I was a student. I got along really well with everyone I worked with which made my working experience a really fun one. The manager accommodated to my student schedule as to not make it overwhelming and there was great communication between employees and the supervisors."

"I am new to the Starbucks company but in the short amount of time that I have been there I have grown to really enjoy the environment. It is a company that cares about its employees not just about the guest and making money. I feel valued and validated as a Starbucks employee."

"Starbucks may not be the career path I had planned on, but they have provided a flexible schedule to help me pursue my passion for software development. I have nothing but good things to say about them."

"I've been with Starbucks since January 2019. It's been wonderful and most people are great to work with. Schedules may change week to week, but are made weeks out so you know ahead of time. Customers are mostly nice and it's nice seeing how you can make people's day. My boss has been very nice working with schedules as well."

"This December will mark 3 years working as a barista at Starbucks. Since then, I have grown with the company and learned the hard earned value of teamwork and integrity. At Starbucks, we do not call each other co-workers, rather, we call each others Partners. Partners create connections with customers and lasting relationships that make them want to come back. Making handcrafted drinks and handing them to your customer is the start of a great conversation and can make someone's day. We work together at an established cafe and welcome everyone. This is where we call our second home."

"Worked for the company for a long time. Dishonest leadership. Poor work/life balance. Unrealistic expectations. Perfection expected at all times. Poor tools and programs to implement the company’s “perfect” expectation."

"I've only worked at Starbucks for a little over a year now. When applying for this job I thought the job description was too much and there is no way you can possibly maintain all those requirements. Little did I know I was very wrong and that it's very true that Starbucks deliver legendary customer service as well as creating an environment not only for customers but for employees to enjoy and communicate well with those customers. The best part, those so called requirements from the beginning just become natural and you just do everything without much stress and hassle."

"Great company -- however, their pay structure, ability to advance, make a living wage, and similar issues leave a lot to be desired. But great benefits, great working conditions, and just a ton of fun."
