"It was okay for awhile, but working there got worst the longer I stayed. Most of the people I worked with in the footwear department left as well because they didn't like it either."

"I like setting and helping customers at Sears. Sales are always great. It is a high volume store and fast-paced."

"Ask a lot of questions. Make sure you ask what your expectations are and set standards."

What don't you like about working at Sears?

"I don't like the downsizing and room for growth. Stores are closing down. They have done away with certain positions for growth."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest proper training. A lot of associates are thrown into positions without the proper training."

What do you like about working at Sears?

"Working for Sears Holdings Co. has given me the opportunity to develop great administrative, analytical, and organizational skills. It has always been my passion to be working in the business field; therefore, Sears has given me the opportunity to develop exceptional qualities and has shown me that it takes hard work and dedication to get there. I got promoted to department manager before I even graduated from college, showing how focused I stayed in my studies and responsibilities at work. The department I manage carries 50% of the whole store sales, and therefore I can conclude that there is no mountain high enough."

What don't you like about working at Sears?

"There is always room for improvement."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management needs to communicate a lot better to a point of excellence, where if one of them is missing, the store can still be in great hands."
