"I like the good benefits and time off. I like the good products and services to offer. The customer base is excellent."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It is easy to get the job. I would not recommend this job to anyone, even in this economy. Verizon implemented a bottom 30% termination scale to lower sales performers. Stress is at an all-time high. High churn for a company in this weak job markets says it all."
What don't you like about working at Verizon Wireless?
"I dislike the lack of integrity - anything to get the sale and close the customer. The company preaches integrity but all actions point towards the opposite. If reported, the company will cover the incident up. HR does not do its job from a legal perspective. The VPs are in total control."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Go back to selling with integrity and not just advertising it. Employees have caught on to the company's manipulative tactics. Also, the managers are typically young, inexperienced, and uneducated. Many of us believe that upper management endorses this to control the behavior of leadership more easily."

"Everything else, the mentality, the management,the working conditions, the poor salary no more than $23000 a year, difficult to get promotions"

"There isn't much I don't like. I've worked at a variety of companies over the years and none have been as incredible."

"Do not beleive anything you are told. Your salary will not be what was promised and the stress is not worth it."

"President has no concept of how long it takes to perform tasks. He also has no empathy for his employees. There is no room for advancement. Bonus pay is based on the owner's mood not an employee's accomplishments. Computers are old and slow. There is not enough employee parking."

"Stop treating your employees like children and grow a soul! We give you exactly what you pay for. If you want us to go above and beyond, then you need to give us a reason, like more money or at least a little bit of praise. We work here to support OUR families, not YOURS!"
