What do you like about working at Kawasaki Motors?
"Benefits for retirement.Some nice people.Charming industryThat's all."
What don't you like about working at Kawasaki Motors?
"A-Most decisions are made by executives and managers to benefit themselves rather than the company, such as hiring more people to increase their job security and internal power, or approving expensive projects to boost their careerB-They claim to hire the best, but they had to create a kawasakI university to teach basic things to executives and employeesC-No advancement possibilities. There is a fraternity-like layer of executives and senior mngrsD-You get promoted based on seniority, even if you don't have the required skills or education. E-The organizational structure is very simple, you are either on top or you are at the bottom. They dont have different levels to promote you unless that somebody dies, is fired or quits the companyF-Almost all executives with just high school degrees or dubious degrees. These people think very highly of themselves, although they are destroying the company"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I don't see how to make a good suggestion because the problem comes from having executives and managers that don't meet today's level of skills and education required to be in those roles."

What do you like about working at Sleepy's?
"Helping people choose the proper sleep system. It validates the importance in the work we do. You're helping them to make a decision that will impact their lives... At least 1/3rd of it."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be mindful that most companies are in the business of recruiting talent. Many companies are not prepared to appreciate what you bring to the table. Be extremely objective about choosing to bring your talent to Sleepys. Do not make any plans to be appreciated beyond your last sale. Do not expect the company to commit to you as it will demand that you commit to it. Take it for what it is. Take it if you need to as you transition to where you want to be..."
What don't you like about working at Sleepy's?
"Employees are numbers. You are reminded of this repeatedly and in so many ways. Each year on average, employees at sleepys make less and less money to perform at higher levels. Sleepys has taken what used to be a best place to work in 2007 and turned it into a job for those in transition. There is a zero sense of security working at sleepys. Sleepys demands perfection from their employees yet is too inconsiderate to listen to their concerns. You work from 10am to 9pm. That's 11 hours. When you are sick, aside from them overlooking it and trying to convince you to work anyway, they pay you for only 8 hours at minimum wage..."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would get back to reality. Level with the people who fuel my business and give them credit where its due. Sleepy's is run by a group of ever-changing people who belive that their employees are not talented enough to give its consumers an ultimate shopping experience. Routineley, employees are repremanded for not meeting measurables and are subjected to secret shops where a person is paid no more than $10 to vist the showroom and make up reasons not to buy anything from the sales person. The desired effect is that the Mattress professional loses their mind, pretends that no person ever walks into a sleepys (any 700 of them) just to look without really intending to buy a product as they do elsewhere in society and then unleash an arsenal of creative, borderline agressive ways to convice an unsuspecting consumer or paid shopper to suddenly buy a bed or accessory. When this approach in not taken, the salesperson is repremanded and told what a bad job they've done. Terms like you failed a shop or you let them walk is then used to describe what went wrong. The bottom line is that in America, where Sleepys is owned and operated, consumers have a right to choose when and where they buy a mattress. It is rediculous to blame a salesperson for not forcing a consumer to bow down to our push to have them make a buying decision just beacuse they happen to visit a sleepys shoowroom."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't work there. The pay may lure you in but you'll hate it very soon."
What don't you like about working at Bodek and Rhodes?
"* Good ol' boys environment masquerading as a family company. The tenured employees there generally hate when anyone new is hired and even haze them through intentionally giving misinformation, stealing lunches, etc.* Complete and utter disconnect between Human Resources management and reality. They think that the practices of this company are normal. Giving no 10 or 15 minute breaks and expecting employees to work 5 or 6 hours straight is uncalled for.* Pass the buck: No one there takes responsibility and transferring customers from department to department is apropros. Any new blood that tries to change this mentality is met with mistreatment by the seasoned veterans.* No overtime but the day doesn't end at 530: Even though you don't get overtime, it's frowned upon if you don't leave at 540 or 545. If you are one minute early leaving or one minute late, you are docked 15 minutes from pay.* Chilling, negative enivronment: Everyone who mentors you will air their dirty laundry about the company, spread rumors, give you misinformation. Even was given a link by MANAGEMENT about bad reviews about this company on this website.* Backward technology: Database is from 1997, all computers have Windows XP, Internet access banned for any employees below sales.* Supports hazing and harassment: Was told by an employee there that male and female employees regularly use quid pro quo to promote people and that if your'e not married into the Rhodes family, you'll never get past middle management.* Unprofessional sales team: Ever see Boiler Room Yeah. It's 2012 and it's surprising this place hasn't been slapped with a class action lawsuit. It's totally acceptable there that customers call in using homophobic slurs.* The President hates rumors yet the entire time I worked there, rumors swirled about other employees.* People steal your lunches. They claim to have a camera that can see the refrigerator yet refuse to rewind tape when stolen lunches are reported."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get with the times, you can't hide from being exposed any more thanks to the Internet. Fox 29 should be told about this place."
