"I love the complexities and challenges of my work. I just don't enjoy season change and the fact that it is understaffed so severely. This affects loss prevention issues and 'focus on customer' issues. I am literally busy that when I am approached by a lonely customer who came out to hang out I just feel bad that I have to minimize interactions. This is not what the company intended but if I entertain every customer the way they wanted I would not be able to fulfill my duties."

"They expect you to sell as if you work on commission. They want you to be pushy to people to buy expensive and buy more, when most customers are there to save money. Their step by step strategy is excessive and impossible. They don't reward you but they definitely tear you apart to tell you your weaknesses. I got told I was 'too nice'.... 'Too nice'"

Or helping a customer get a pair of shades to use on vacation/honeymoon and giving them a good deal on a nice pair of glasses they otherwise wouldn't get. I don't like feeling like I have to profile people, my store got so much theft, it was like I couldn't just welcome people into the store without feeling fake. They need some metal detectors so we don't have to stress so much about theft."
