"I have worked in both the print and sales departments of OfficeMax. The only real part I enjoy about the company is my co-workers. I have been fortunate to meet good people. As far as the company, the ad signs most of the time don't match the prices, so we have to override a lot. The second thing that bothers me the most is customers get too much slack. They complain, they get what they want... that is so ANNOYING!"

"I loved having my own department to maintain. Each week I would check price points and rebuild displays as needed."

"I didn't like the fact that our store manager wasn't very focused on customer service."

"When seeking any kind of management there needs to be a great emphasis on customer service."

"After the holiday season the store was dead. I couldnt apply my degree at OfficeMax becasue I am an art major."

"I dont have any suggestion for the managment because the store was one of the best in the US."

"Fun, nice workers exciting, rewarding, fun, awesome, protection plans and paper."

"Be confident, be able to sell the manager a pen or something like that. You got it dude."

"When customers were rude, when they brought in pets that peed."

"Keep working hard, Vern Allison rocks, get advice from him. Be nice to employees."

"Listening to customers and trying to figure out what they need, what they are going to be doing with it, then suggest a proper item. Seeing a smile on their faces when they find what they want. Putting stock away and verifying stock is put in the correct place. I get to see what needs to be done and do it."

"Not enough hours."
