These grumpy farmers, while being pretty interesting to work with are pretty ridiculous. Who in their right mind comes into a market place like Sears or Walmart and tries to haggle. "Each employee that is over the age of 18 can use the slicer. The store I worked at has a relatively new slicer. In May of this year I noticed that the blade guard was coming lose, so I let a manager know. A few weeks later while I'm slicing, the blade guard falls off. I then stopped what I was doing and called a manager over. They said they would get it fixed. Before I left in September the blade guard was still not fixed."

"Being in sales is a hard job no matter what it is your selling. Especially in a commission based job like i had. There were extremely long hours, missed holidays, dead ends where you had to start for scratch every month and nothing was guaranteed, and you have to work the main hours that everyone outside of retail sales is off. But the positives of working in sales are being able to control your own success, the thrill of closing a sell, making incentives, pushing yourself to meet goals, applying yourself mentally, meeting new people, and providing a service that helps someone's specific need."
