"The fact that after a surgery and 4+ mos of down-time, following a helicopter landing in a war zone, the contract had changed and a larger company (DRS) had taken over and given my job to one of their PMs."

"Get back to basics, keep process in an appropriate place and don't over develop college graduates. Make them earn the benefits of career development programs versus throwing them in right out of college and watching them leave."

"Everyone is different and no matter where one goes it will take time to understand who is competent and who is not and who one can rely upon and not."

"I was offered an uncolicited job at a substancial rasie and after two years I was one of the first to be RIF'd."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Practice what you preach. The CEO went all across the US explaining how he instructed his direct reports that the employees were their greatest asset. He then went on to say if they had any employees that consistently went above and beyond do everything possible to reward them and definitely to keep them. He also said if they had any employees that were just getting by, management needed to strictly follow the rules. I worked for two years without a sick day, I took on multiple projects that were in addition to my job description and consistently receive praise from our customers, howeveras I mentioned what I was told did not seem to be the path the company followed."
