"Hiring system should recognize internal recommendations rather than relying solely on the computer based HR system to select viable candidates."

"There was not a lot of development. Most new technology was purchased through acquisitions, so a lot of the technical work was adding new features. It's fun to develop new things."

"Each program is independent and is solely dependent upon grants and external funding, which can greatly impact security and compensation."

"Senior management constantly changing. Commitments made by product management without anything to back it up."

"I liked the team work atmosphere. They also invested in education which was a big plus for me and my employees."

"Get the job, this is a good company to work for. I recommend their culture."

"With all big companies, there is politics. I was actually a professional and steered clear of bureaucracy in the work place but it was hard to see other hard working people suffer from it."

"No suggestions, my managers were always professional and always willing to help me advance to the next level."

"HP has a very good job environment. Everyone typically get along with each other very well."

"The work environment is very good. But, employee at HP are always worried about layoffs."
