"Politics, deadbeats, some of the clients."

What do you like about working at DIVA Systems?
"Technology and the fact that it was a total systems company (hardware, software, and content). My basic jobs of actively managing foreign subcontractors was especially a lot of fun"

"The company no longer exists as it went bankrupt and the assets and proprietary data have been disposed of."
What don't you like about working at DIVA Systems?
"DIVA was going bankrupt and I got caught in some of the associated politics (subcontractors were doing their work for below costs--I thought--but what they really wanted was to the exclusive supplier for the next subcontract developement----and I was not told of this relationship established by the CEO's of the associated companies. So when the new order was not forthcoming, I was yelled at by the subcontractors and I did not know why"

"All of my comments concerned the subacontracts mangement programs I was working on"

"Very good company to work for. Unfortunately this position requires EXTENSIVE travel."

"I liked the freedom to implement my ideas onto our programs. Company does not micro-manage."

"I disliked the extensive travel. This industry requires you being on the road from February to November every year."

"nepotistic, despot management with zero support. Archaic vies and attitudes toward staff growth, team building and personal well being."

"The A/C are good and well designed , the guys on the shop floor make the company"

"Say the truth... and geteverything in writing you career will be about 15/ 20 years then you are out .."

"Wrong guys in the wrong job , non or little experience . Everything is for the bottom line and to make money for the share holders the family .Once you reach a point in your employment that you cost money you are out . Even if your replacement doesn't have the experience they just don't see it"

"Look at the rest of the industry and watch your backs they are going to overtake you very soon . The customer is ALWAYS right...not how much will it cost to get out of this .."

"I was given an opportuinty to professionally grow. As task opportuinties were persented I was able to transistion into them."

"The mid-level management team was not very deep. This resulted in being over allocated on several projects across the company."

"Permote others to mid-level management."
