"Managing people and getting them to work together in a common goal to create new products and change the way people perform their daily grind is an extremely rewarding experience. Technology opens up so many opportunities and being able to leverage that to help people get work done is a great challenge and one that I hope I will be able to perform for some time. It's hard to image doing anything else."

"The product line is exciting and at times innovative and fun to work on"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"if you are in need for a pay check then you may want to consider this company as a short term fill in. But do not leave a current position to work here, As stated the turn over rate is extremely high"
What don't you like about working at Hampton Forge?
"the owner belittles and verbally abuses the employees. the turn over is very high. You are constantly training new people only to see them fired or quit. The hours are very long and since everyone is listed as salary, there is no additional pay for after hours or weekend work. The meetings are never ending and counter productive. The decisions by the owner are ever changing making project management a nightmare"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"cease running the company on fear. It is not a motivational tool. Being under constant threat of being fired is counter productive and just plain wrong"

"don't reveal your complaint to other fellows who should report to higher management"

"working with boss in case that he does have less experiences but trying to train"

"Must be able manage projects efficiently according to budgetary limitations. Expect difficulty pushing new ideas through to executive leadership."

"Lack of trust from leadership, reliance on old practices, comfort with status-quo, poor technology, disorganized"

"Allow for more input from staff, encourage level-appropriate decision making among staff, greater focus on CRM, upgrade UX technology, consider teleworking policy to lower staff turnover rate"

What do you like about working at Krames StayWell?
"I like the type of products that we sales and the markets we serve. Our products are used by clinicians at the point of care that improve patient outcomes from surgery and other ailments."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The company is owned by a private equity firm. Their intent is to hold the company for a few years and then sell it. As a private equity company, they buy and sell companies that require debt covenants. Although the debt they incur is not directly related to my current company, but to comply with other covenants and financial obligations the investors use our cash flow for other areas... basically the capital is not invested back into the organization I work for. Due to the current economy, these obligations are impacting opportunities and growth at the company."
What don't you like about working at Krames StayWell?
"The company lacks opportunity for advancement for employees that are not in the corporate headquarters located in Utah."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My recommendation to management is to understand the impact of new legislation and medical advancements that are creating new opportunities for new products and services. There are so many changes ocurring in our industry that we are not captializing on."
