"I’ve worked at Panasonic for almost 7 months now, when I came in I needed to learn quickly as there was a lack of operators and full production to run. Within a week I was able to work independently despite my lack of not being certified at the time. I come in every day ready to fulfill my tasks as an individual and as a team member. I’m willing to always pick up slack wherever I may find it, and am confident that if you asked anyone I work with they would say the same. My desire to not be a mixer of chemicals all my life is what is driving me to move out of the comfort I have with a steady job to something more innovative. I want to be an engineer. I want something that fulfills me."

"Panasonic is as stable and strong as can be, but we are humans and as with most if not all companies and situations when it comes to promotions it really depends on being friends of the boss or the bosses boss and not personal achievements. Promoting from within in my experience has not been the case."

"This company doesn't care about you or safety. The only thing that matters is production. Batteries for Tesla's are essential! Or they're knowingly and willing killing people, so some rich guy can get a case of tomato soup home... It's all a sham, don't believe the hype."

"In my opinion, these are my 5 in-depth knowledge areas in PV Manufacturing keeping our technology in mind. 1. Module Lamination and curing - Good knowledge of which temperature and pressure settings are good for which kind of models. I have performed a lot of DOE's in this section of our manufacturing line to obtain optimized setting parameters. 2. Appearance Inspection and Module Characteristics - I have a good understanding of our module specifications, both appearance wise and performance characteristics. 3. Dealing with Materials (Encapsulant, backsheets, a few components inside of the modules) - A good understanding of material storage conditions, expiration, material non-conformance and sheet cutting specifications. 4. New Product Introductions - I have been a part of almost 5 new model introductions. Our team takes care of general prototyping, testing, evaluating pilot runs and setting up mass productions. 5. Man - Machine interaction - Our plant is semi-automatized. I deal with production workers (Training) and Machines (Setting up machines, doing a formal OQ and PQ)"
