"I worked with Office Depot for 4 months as a job during high school, I got the job to start building my job experience and make some money on the side. I also did it because other than school I had a lot of time on my hands. It was a decent job that paid pretty well for retail, everything was pretty nice about it but unfortunately I got laid off due to budget cuts. However if I were to recommend a retail job for a person just starting it would be Office Depot."

"IT customer service and problem solving are the most rewarding."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It's a paycheck and don't let it get to you because the upper management will pick on you because they are given plenty of pressure from up top."

What don't you like about working at Office Depot?

"There is a cancer that exists and it tears down any respect or drive to stay with the company. It may be the market, it may be the business atmosphere, it's just business or maybe the new generations such as my gen can't and have no desire to connect to a big corp."

"Find ways to build up your work force. Happy workforce will reflect the way they view the company."

"Do analysis of the business model to see if it could be tweaked."

"If you are not great at taking tests then you will fail the computer test when you turn in application."

"The way they treat some of their employees."

"Stop being babies and take action on situations. If you are behind employees stand behind them, don't let them fall in anything at the store."
