"I love keeping up with a fast-paced type of job like this - there's always something to do every minute you're there and if you miss something it sets you back so it keeps you on your toes. But sometimes it can get TOO busy and it will feel like there's not enough staff to handle the volume. But this is understandable for a growing company like this - if you stick with it things will get better."

"career growth is not well defined or structured. Resources are thin"

"honest communication, be open and say what you can and can't do. If the resources are thin find a way to make work fun."

"Low pay and lack of reward for working hard. Pushed for increased sales and succeeded but saw no reward for innovation."

"The owner sold his company to another guy. My advice: make the website better and get more product on the website so people do not have to leave the website and go somewhere else to find what they want."

"Be ready to be dedicated for this industry. You will unexpectedly love it."

"On a couple of occasions, we had to hunker down for weeks in a row trying to deal with emergency situations so being away from home for months was challenging at times."

"I always felt like part of the management and decision making team so my advice is not to change and make sure to keep ALL employees at all level feeling the same."

"I liked the stability and growth in the industry. New projects are exciting, and every person engages each and every day."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be yourself. Be proactive, collaborative and open minded. Everyone has an opinion, but your job is to make sure that your opinion is constructive and actionable. Manage your product and your project with the PMO together. You may own the product, but you have a team of developers, Q/A, UAT, PMO, etc. who look to you for support, drive and guidance. They are your team, although they are cross functional."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"In some cases, the company was process-heavy. When leadership implements cultural or corporate structural change (departmental), management could use improvement. AT&T is slow on innovation and timeliness to market, and tends to be reactive / conservative."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I'd recommend greater transparency in the strategic vision of the organization (department). This would include communication in a timely fashion."

"This company has out of touch goals and standards for its employees. They expect that you reach these goals with out question. If their goals and expectations are not met be prepared to be help accountable no matter what."

What do you like about working at Sears?

"I loved working with the children and being a photographer."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't do it. You can work for other national chain studios and make more money."

What don't you like about working at Sears?

"I disliked no annual raise incentive for employees, being expected to work 12-hour days without a break, and lack of good leadership from higher-up managers. They never provided us with new props or backgrounds and never upgraded the camera or lighting system. The studio is outdated. There is only one person on each shift, so you're stuck photographing, selling, answering phones, and delivering pictures by yourself."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Care for the employees more by offering incentives to stay."

"The regular guests are fun. The biggest factor is the made from scratch food and recipes."

"Try another restaurant first. If this is the only opportunity for you, then just remember to keep looking. Do not come off as intelligent. They prefer a more dumbed-down, obedient type of manager/staff."

What don't you like about working at The Original Pancake House?

"The owners lack any people or communication skills. Of the two of them, the little rhino is more shady. It is hard to believe they own 3 restaurants. Instead of considering management's perspectives, they often make decisions based on information from long term staff who are mostly dishonest. They prefer throwing tantrums instead of having conversations. As a result, they go through managers very often."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Walk a thin line between long term staff and the owners. Keep your head down and eyes open. Do not believe for a second you have job security."
