"I liked the promises of salary increases and incentives (offered) for hard work. Unfortunately they were lies."

"Unless you are desperate, do not work here. Otherwise be yourself and be honest about your work ethic and experience. Promise only what you can deliver."
What don't you like about working at IronBridge Construction?
"Watching the miserable Top few management people berate and belittle their employees and eventually fire capable people one by one. Sending others into positions that they were not trained for to fill a void that they created. It was constantly setting people up for failure (It was not a matter of challenging them, and no, that did not happen to me). The vast majority if not the entire staff is spending most of their time searching for another position at another company."

"Let HR deal with employees and detach yourself from dealing with them at any level. Build a competent team and let them do their jobs."

"Good work /life balance. Benefits include a defined pension plan."

"Don't expect to have a dynamic career but, the work load is manageable."

"Really understand the impact of budget cuts and its effect on work planning and increased multi-tasking."

"For the love of God, get yourself out of there. I do not care what the recruiter told you; you do not want this job."

"The system is built around people not advancing in their careers because IBM never wants to give a meaningful pay raise. Ever. Even to its best people."

"I would pay people what they are worth. IBM is not willing to give a raise under any circumstances, so people quit to get a raise and then we end up hiring a new person at the wage the old person wanted!"

"CSC is a good company to work for if you are able to move around and like change."

"The position at a major automotive group ended and CSC had to bench me."

"CSC was in transition due to acquisition, which meant a lot reduction in staff. Perhaps more planning for existing workers."

"No support. No direction from management. No feedback mechanism to provide feedback to management.. Management does not like to pay employees that have worked hard and won contracts and created revenue for the company."
