"I love keeping up with a fast-paced type of job like this - there's always something to do every minute you're there and if you miss something it sets you back so it keeps you on your toes. But sometimes it can get TOO busy and it will feel like there's not enough staff to handle the volume. But this is understandable for a growing company like this - if you stick with it things will get better."

"A lot of accidents in the job go unreported. They sweep it under the rug."

"Nothing only the free car and gas... other than that it was a difficult place to work."

"Don't unless you're going for an hourly position... salaried positions aren't worth it here."

What don't you like about working at Hertz?

"Very little autonomy, advancement difficult, low accountability from other managers, little support, if you need something you have to ask a million different people, high pressure on making sales for things most people cannot afford."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get it together, most can't afford what we're pressured to sell! Give more support to lower level managers instead of just saying well you got it."

"Ask people who already work there. Tell us that you will work for 5 years. You have always to tell what they want to hear, it's the first rule."

"Work Environment, the fact that it is far away from civilization, the general manager, etc."

"Management : you have to listen employees, it's them who provides your salary. Don't trash on them like you do all the time!"

What do you like about working at Lacoste?

"You gain luxury retail experience and enjoy and substantial discount on the product.You gain experience in many areas of the business due to the lack of manpower. As a sales associate and manager, you get involved in many areas of the business... largely because they want you to do much more, with less as a store."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be confident by preparing examples of how you have succeeded in the past; particularly in sales roles.Know why you want to work for the brand."

What don't you like about working at Lacoste?

"People are not a priority. Management is not very supportive when in it comes to training, talent development and open communication. If you thrive in conformist work environments and find being a yes man or yes woman your forte, this may be an appropriate company to work for. There are growth opportunities that are unfortunately limited to management favorites (not based on performance). The budget for each store is scant, making it hard to hire great talent nor staff properly to provide great service. The pay is low for luxury retail; talented people find more competitive offers quickly, even in this job market."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Learn to lead. Successful management requires trust in their employees. And that trust can be built by genuinely listening to ideas and investing in the development of talent. It seems that the first step taken at Lacoste is to put sales associates on corrective action rather than correct or develop a behavior."

"The 'let's see what we can get away with' attitude. No interest in following policy or law, let's just make money."

"Short commute was good and the work interesting and challenging."

"Say you are willing to work and travel all the time for the company, and don't mind being a minority in an American company."

What don't you like about working at Western Digital?

"The work was high stress and long hours. Most of the employees are from Asia and the company's Asian factories are used to replace American workers and lower the company's costs and wages. These Asian workers cannot leave the company, so they have to do whatever the company wants and take whatever pay the company want to. Since there was a preference toward Asian workers, Americans had to contend with their preferences to work with other Asians."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop making the company a slave and sweat shop, and hire Americans and maybe even train some Americans before bringing in Asian workers even though it might cost a little money."

"My coworkers and and people I managed were fun and great."

"At least 50% of what they tell you - just like their sales team - is false. Don't even bother applying. Save yourself the nightmare and go with ANY other company."

What don't you like about working at Wyndham Worldwide?

"The upper management are deceitful, untrustworthy, and ignorant. They are overpaid off the hard work of those below - and they cut the pay of those below every year. They are so out of touch with what goes on. Favoritism, nepotism and discrimination are their mantras. They have created an environment of intimidation, where employees cannot express their opinions because of retaliation. They have no idea of direction. It is not surprising that there is so much turnover and job openings now. HR plays along to protect themselves and the company, not the employees. Very sad."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Practice what you preach. Communicate and listen. Stop persecuting the only effective employees that you have. Perhaps some self-inspection would reveal the truth."

"Started off like a dream. Has turned into a nightmare."

What do you like about working at Xerox?

"There is very little I like at Xerox. Senior management has stated they are not interested in people being happy, if that's what is desired, go elsewhere."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would look elsewhere. You will not get recognition nor pay increases. You will not be allowed to be empowered and if a manager isn't yelling at you or others, they are throwing you under the bus. We will be lucky to be in business 5 years from now."

What don't you like about working at Xerox?

"Senior management makes poor decisions, don't communicate and there has been 1 small pay increase in 7 years. Salaries remain flat while our CEO states in round tables to employees that she is underpaid. Our CEO is not a people person, she is selfish, mean, rude and arrogant. Hearing her talk in meetings is embarrasing, her language skills are terrible."

"All you need to do is look pretty and you will get the job .. also lie and carry yourself as you are capable of bringing lots of new workers to the company!"

"Dishonesty, Management Throwing people under the bus, others taking credit for your work, General Manager under the influence of controlled dangerous substances regularly leading to severely bad communication and poor decision making, no trust, stabs in the back, racism, discrimination, hiring of known illegal citizens. Company is under investigation for discrimination so you have to walk on egg shells and follow a script given from the owners of the company. Not following the orders of the two owners or the GM to hire only certain types of races or skin color people will result in termination."

"Terminate yourselves , find a career that really suits you instead of running this franchise into the ground."

"Little chance for advancement and input from the frontline never seems to affect corporate decisions. The tendancy to replace workers with less skilled and cheaper offshore employees is also worrisome."

"Address our growing and dangerous dependency on key employees. The saving grace of the economy over the past few years is that our reduced staff have been hesitant to consider entering the job market. When the economic situation changes, we stand to lose considerable institutional knowledge as well as people."
