"Good work/life balance. Don't often take work home w/you. Free parking."

"Be prepared for micromanagement. Poor performers and strong performers treated the same."

"Job insecurity. Management by need to know philosophy. Competition for remaining jobs."

"Trust your staff. Less micromanagement. Less micromanagement. And way less micromanagement."

"The company embodies corporate greed in such a way that there is no effort toward doing what is right, what is safe, what is legal etc. None of those things matter because those things would impact the bottom line and, because of that, they are non-issues. The hype about the company (the tag-lines that they give to their customers on their web-page, facebook etc.) are just that. They are polar opposites to how the company is truly being run from the top down. It is like a disease. Review and scrutinize your paycheck."

"Corruption, greed, dishonesty, lack of business ethics, punitive, biased, the list goes on."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There can be no advise adequate to change the culture that is the very foundation of PFJ. From the top down, the culture is unbelievably corrupt."

"The employees work very hard and genuinely care abut what they are doing."

"They had a fairly effective process. Not sure what it is like now. Be prepared to discuss what you did in your previous jobs and also be prepared to have an informal chat. Both types of interviews are used to make decisions."
What don't you like about working at National Student Clearinghouse?
"The CEO and most of his staff are the most political team I and most people have ever observed. There is no trust among any of them (especially the CEO and COO) and unfortunately, that trickles down to staff. Any competent staff has left or has been fired. What is left are the managers who play games well and pretend that all is well when they speak to the CEO and COO. Clearly the BOD is satisfied with the company's performance, but they care less how the employees are being treated. The CEO is committed to earning a Best Place to Work Award and even plants positive reviews on other sites which is why I am posting this here."

"They will not change. The BOD needs to step in and make some sweeping changes in leadership."

"The owner of the company Tim treats his employees in a very un-professional manner."

What do you like about working at Hoag?
"Nothing at all. I was miserable each day for the month-and-a-half that I worked there."

"Don't do it. Go for another job - you'll thank me later."
What don't you like about working at Hoag?
"Everything. Upper management are all sticks-in-the-mud with zero personality. The emphasis at this healthcare provider is profit. They only care about the patient because it is a means for them to make more money. Male employees are forced to wear a shirt and tie (which is completely unsanitary in a healthcare environment) each day. You are not allowed to have any personal items or photos in your office. My personal favorite was having to clock in and clock out each day even though I was salaried. You also were only allowed three absences per quarter. If you failed to clock in or out, or if you got sick and missed more than 3 days in an three month period, you would be docked pay and would face disciplinary charges. Isn't that illegal At orientation, we were told to stay healthy"

"Relax and let your employees enjoy life and work a bit. Stop stepping on their necks just to make a buck."

"Hours are generally 9-5 and I do not have to work a lot of OT."

"Move on to another organization that cares about staff and actual is an ORGANIZATION vs. a fun house for the top staff."

"Little is offered to staff as far as fun events or growth opportunities. Community evolvement is very poor. Pay is average and bonuses and raises are very small to none. Benefits are very poor with employee paying a very cost of health coverage rate. Senior staff does not seem to like to interact with anyone much less employees even at organizational run events such as the Christmas party, they carry themselves like they are better then anyone."

"Retire before you bring the organization to its knees or just resign and save some face; its much uglier than you can imagine."

"Your input matters. Has Starbucks cafe on-site, day care services and many other perks."

"Be prepared. Review the company website, show up on time and dress for the interview. ASI is casual but expect candidates to sell themselves."

"Would love to have half day Fridays again. Set up permanent volley ball and basketball courts."

"Treated people like crap. You couldn't express anything without fearing your job would be in jeopardy. The upper management was terrible. The owners treated the employees like ants."

"It is a casual eviroment, pays well, and free lunch"

"It is very important to act the part and fit in. Although they are a public company i've had many qualified and good people on my team pushed out because they weren't a social fit."

"Some management is awful. Especially dislike some of Human Resources as they go back on their word often"

"Leadership training for your managers and directors. Show people you care rather then just saying it."

"The employees there formed a bond, but it was a common bond that they could never get the right support from upper management."

"If in Sales/Marketing, get an airtight agreement in place before EVER setting foot in their door. If in operations, do NOT believe in sweat equity statements from management. You rpay will ALWAYS be low-balled when you walk in the door."

"The lies about the reliability or useability of their product. It just doesn't work. Period."

"I will not add anything to suggest improvements, as this is their decision to make and not one of my own."
