"I took the job with the knowledge that it was 100% travel job with per diem."

"Don't settle for a department that isn't union. The benefits are not the same and the pay is much lower compared to the union jobs even though the qualifications are similar."

"The company offers a great continuing education package, but if you travel 100% of the time it is useless. The money can't be used to obtain certifications that would benefit me at Lockheed or anywhere. Human Resource department is useless. The pay is extremely low with level of technical knowledge, experience is needed. Company doesn't seem interested in providing needed training that would help secure contracts."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Do periodic drug tests on employee. Provide training related to IT such as Cisco, Linux, etc. These certifications are available to other departments but evidently not to ours."

"Configured Legacy with software engineering environment including Medicare changes. Implemented software environment with Medicare Modernization Act for Office of Retirement and Survivors Insurance System (ORSIS)."

"My job was moved from Orlando, Florida to Owego, NY. This is quite a change to say the least. Sometimes deadlines make working extensive overtime necessary to get the job done."
