"Being politely straight forward and fun is the most important thing. Friendly, honest, and fun."

"Top management is distant, and sometimes do not understand the issues correctly or at all, and so provides improper support."

"Management should either be present locally or completely delegate to the local management team."

"The salary and benefits are fairly competitive. I get to work with some fairly new technology."

"The pay and benefits are generally good, but their is a lack of strong management, weak corporate culture, and lack of accountability."

"General lack of accountability. People will shirk their responsibilities and wait for someone else to pick up the work."

"Senior management and the board of directors need to take more responsibility in creating consistent policies and making sure they are used."

"Lots of opportunity for advancement. The work is often challenging, Great pay and fairly good benefits."

"Do the best you can at the job you are hired to do and you will be noticed. Be flexible and open to opportunities. Network, network, network!!! Making connections at Fluor is how you climb the ladder and is essential to career longevity."
What don't you like about working at Fluor?
"Fluor is a very large company with several employees. Sometimes we place people in management positions over functions that they really don't have any or much experience in. If they are just managing people then this is not really a problem. The problem is when these people make decisions that impact the particular function that they are managing (and ultimately the company) without having good background knowledge to support it."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I feel that that some groups get stuck on a way or process for doing business and are unwilling to change. Even if what the way they currently perform work is not successful. I believe that there comes a time when executive management has to stand up and say What you are doing is not working. Just doing business like this more is not going to bring you success. I want you to come to me with a different plan."

"I like the fact that the work week is only 32 hours."

"Being a small company, there is no room for growth."

"It's fun working for a professional baseball team. I enjoy working with most of the people in my deparrment and the projects that I work on."

"Don't get into this job thinking you're going to get a job in baseball operations."

"The managers of other departments outside of my own have no idea how to communicate with each other."

"There are a few things that I would do differently in regards to the way departments work with each other."

"Look somewhere else unless you want to work for a company that will do ABSOLUTELY the bare minimum to keep you as an exployee"

"lack of direction and back bone by upper management leads to no real solid teamwork"

"Be more understanding of the technological needs and not just implement something because it is new"

"Mostly good people. Made some really good friends there. That is all."

"Hard to say. They seem to be slowly trying to improve conditions, but too slowly for me."

"Owners seemed only interested in making money. Product came second, employees last. No growth potential. Felt like I would do the same job forever. Terrible company culture, good ole boy club."

"I would stay more involved in the Daily Operations or hire the right person to replace me."

"Some of the people at Emory are great to work with."

"Explore your options and know that it is most likely going to be a dead-end job."

"Always watching, waiting for one to make a mistake and then in for the kill, got a save a buck...even unscrewed the light bulbs to save money."

"Change the current way of business of it is all about money, not about making a difference."

"Company was 100% dedicated to customer values. They were very responsive to customer concerns and addressed issues immediately."

"Be truth full of your qualifications and your goals; dont apply if youre just looking for a paycheck. The company is dedicated to its customer and employees."

"Company did not go after small contracts only the large ones."

"Small contract can lead to big ones and company will grow its great reputation."

"proper acknowledgement of my investment in the company effort. Management going out of their way to make the masses efforts appreciated."

"The upper management relying on middle managers like myself keeping it all running when it is important for them to step up and motivate the company - but not doing so."

"Be confident when you speak and look interested in the company ask questions about the company itself.Stay relaxed don't look nerves and have friendly demeanor about yourself.Tell them some of the things you have done to help the last company you worked for, And how it can apply to there company."

"The CEO Was a Dictator and he was never happy with the company or employee's performance even when we went above and beyond are personal or company goals."

"Talk to and listen to the employee's about what was wrong about the Company and then take there suggestions on how to make things better."
