"Horrible management, withholding of data, withholding of real results, manipulation, verbal abuse. Terrifying environment."

"Please realize that you are not the best in the world, learn from failure, do not behave like a child and be more professional with employees."

"The worst place to work."
What do you like about working at Equator Financial Solutions?
"Talented and creative people. The low level employees who work all hours of the day and night to make promises the CEO made to his clients. The only reason he got big banks as clients is...he promises to do the the first phase for free. Then the clients refuse to pay and then he cancels bonuses for the employees. No money."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Avoid at all costs. There is no career development here, no training, no management positions. They all went to friends of the Sr. Staff."
What don't you like about working at Equator Financial Solutions?
"The management and their micro managing style. Sr. management treating employees like replaceable servants."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"In a desperate attempt to keep employees from leaving, the Sr management, which includes 3 people, told all employees to fill out a survey. Then they went on a hunt to figure out which employees wrote negative comments."

What do you like about working at Greystar?
"It is the most professional environment but with a lax attitude. Jeans on Mondays and Fridays - the company is more concerned with getting projects completed and less concerned about a strict business aura. The laid back environment provides a low stress workplace making work more meaningful and less contrived."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I have worked for many of corporations and companies varying from engineering to investment banking. You will be happy here."
What don't you like about working at Greystar?
"The only thing I can think of would be the promotion process. There is a lot of room to grow, but it is difficult to know where to go, unless you set a path for yourself. All the management and directors are more than willing to help you get to where you want to be, you only need to know where you want to be."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"When career pathing and reviews - help the employee see where he/she can go and in what time span."

"IT management is unable to update the outdated thinking. Painful for new ppl."
What do you like about working at Armstrong World Industries?
"Pretty campus (although it is getting run down). Pays very well if you negotiate aggressively during hire."

"Negotiate salary aggressively. Company is no longer open with employees about company financial troubles so do your homework and don't trust what they tell you."
What don't you like about working at Armstrong World Industries?
"Thinking in is very small town, outdated and people that challenge the status quo are viewed negatively. Company is focused on saving money but IT never does ROI assessments not do they efficiently allocate the few remaining staff not yet outsourced."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop hyper focusing on growing from within for IT executive jobs. Executive management in IT needs to be replaced with outside talent to get aligned with industry standards and foster new ideas to reduce cost without crippling service quality. The CIO REALLY needs to be replaced ASAP."

"There is tremendous growth potential if you're willing to put in a lot of work."

"It's a great place to get real experience with application development. Management is very encouraging and will help you all they can. The pay can be good if you get promoted quickly but, if that doesn't happen, this isn't the place to stay longterm. It can help you to launch a successful career."
What don't you like about working at Catalyst IT Services?
"Their business plan puts a lot of responsibility on their least experienced staff members. There are few senior staff members to go to for help and they are spread very thin. At this company, the worker bees have to make sure they're pumping out quality code."

"Need more technical management. The managers in OR seem to have more technical ability than the managers in MD."

"Too many reorgs, stagnation and shrinkage. No inspirational leaders."

"The people are friendly and most want to be helpful."

"Interviews are easy and they don't do a great job of screening individuals for organization fit and change agents. They are interested in those that tow the company line."

"Too much in the weeds at all levels, don't view technology as a drive for automation and efficiency, unwilling to make needed changes to drive improvements."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Under the markets the company is in, create products that are innovative and encourage risk taking. Change the financial model from focusing on the pennies to focusing on results. Reward those that deliver, not those who know others. Clean out the dead weight."

"No, I think they are very straight and crystal when they show you the possibilities in the company, even when you have to leave. They are good people."

"The constant possibility to be sold (as a company), I experienced three merge process and in the last one, I had to leave."

"It is late, but I think that the change of commercial model will be bad for the new company (Spectrumbrands Inc.)."
