"The work that we did there building Army tanks for the government, was my way of doing my part to give to my country. I miss the people"

"At that time of being employed with General Dynamics, there was a great deal of turmoil over how they treated their people. Especially first line supervision. Engineering and quality issues, and the daily production levels were a major undertaking and caused bottle necks in the system making it very difficult to achieve some of the company goals. We did the best with less!"

"They discontinued the program after 28 days and did not pay for expenses to leave."

"For the amount of work I was required to do, the salary was not commensurate with the load."

"The salary for admin. professionals needs to be more competitive, especially given one's experience and qualifications."

"Project commissioning day, it is nice to start a new project and label completion dates."

"Good people, great hours, well structure learning environment, emphasis on being professional at all times."

"The commute back and forth to work one hundred and fifty miles round trip daily."

"Try to communicate with all of the GD personnel on contract on a more frequent basis."

"The company wasn't just about the bottom line. There was a good work life balance and the organization has internal channels for personal and professional growth."

"They are more than willing to provide feedback and career options for you to choose from."

"I liked everything. The reason I left was because there was a position elsewhere that was going to fulfill the professional growth need at the time I needed it. A similar position was not available at that time internally."

"They decided not to pursue the business line I was researching. Bad idea I thought, but they did forgive the relo, gave two weeks severance, and credited my 401k with a $5k bonus."
