"I like writing code, determining the best way to accomplish a series of tasks. I like the cooperation between coders who are working on different aspects of the same system. I enjoy writing specifications (don't laugh, I do!). I like the hours. I like the fact that I can do my job from any location that supports a high speed internet connection to my workplace."

"They don't call it the Lazy B for nothing. Do your job, don't try to make a difference, you'll get the standard 2-3% raise a year whether you aim high to soar with the eagles or poop chicken scratch like the rest of the people who just go through the paces. Fake it till you make it. I did my 20 years there."

What don't you like about working at Boeing Commercial Airplanes?

"The brain dead non-focused management doing flavor of the month programs like a circus was in town, political empire building supervisors who ignored proven cost/benefit analysis about what would profit the company versus look good on their own charts. Spineless managers who would bend over like a limp leaf in the wind instead of standing up for beliefs versus "political posturing" and going with the flow to be "yes men"."
