"I was involved in every aspect of the bus manufacturing."

"Be your self and speak your mind in the sense you let management know exactly what you want."

"most of the engineers do not have education/ Degrees which made difficult to communicate technically."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire engineers with degrees and make policies to improve people cooperation in terms of documentations and sharing such info. People hide information for job security purpose and they are proud of it!!"

"Very professional environment. Very good place to learn something new everyday."

"Laid off."

"Start hiring U.S citizens first rather than bringing people from China or India and making them direct employees. There is too many unemployed citizens A LOT smarter than foreign engineers."

"The home office is not very organized and tries to micro-manage its managers. As a result, we currently are on the fifth superintendent for this project and second NM area manager in 8 months."

"Trust its lower managers a little more and focus on a good work environment and safety as much as in production."

"Most of the people. Clean work enviroment. Fun, fast paced, challenging. Open to some change."

"Do not interview with there HR generalist. Interview directly with management. HR is to young to know talent and she is very unprofessional. She is moving her way around the office like those cheerleaders you hated in high school...it happened to me. Our insurance broker, an intern a dj at our company party. Now that she moved on to my boss it got to uncomfortable for her to see me and now I'm out looking."
What don't you like about working at Lakeside Manufacturing?
"Change was hard to push. They have to many managers that do not change. To many prima-donnas that convince others that there way is the best without looking at more cost effective easier alternatives. Those people block progress and hurt those around them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get rid of the ones holding you back and do not contribute. Listen to others and not just the ones who have been there the longest...they arent always the best because they have not been anywhere else for experience. Trying to make high end products with low end staff is not a good combination."

"people, to many managers with no guidance, to many disgruntled workers because of bad decisions."

"don't just throw money at people to stay. it makes for an unhealthy work enviroment. give guidance to those who need it. stay on top of quality."
