"Not much. Shitty company to work for. I can't think of anything really good about it."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't work there. Company treat it's employees like cogs in a wheel. Can be replaced at any time."
What don't you like about working at Ocean State Job Lot?
"Company doesn't see you as important. Just a cog in the wheel that can be replaced at any time. You work long hours for little pay and no matter how much work you do it's never enough. Accused me of theft and fired me without ANY evidence at all. After going to from part time cashier to full time freight mover at the start of the summer, at my annual review I was told I had made no improvements since my last one and was denied my promotion and given a $.10 pay raise and told it was better then nothing. Most benefits don't kick in till 2 to 3 years."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop being so shitty. Stop lieing to your employees and don't toss them out on their ass when they make a mistake."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Interviewers interviewing with this company must be proficent with their communication skills and have more self confidence in their responsibilities."
What don't you like about working at 7-Eleven?
"The environment could be more safer and supervisor could be more organize in worker's schedules."
What do you like about working at Sam's Club?
"I was only a part time associate and I really enjoyed working there. I made wonderful friends that I still see when I shop there."
What don't you like about working at Lowe's?
"Sometimes, they'll have you working until 11 p.m., and the next morning, they want you back at 5:30 a.m. to help open the store."

"Aldin Associates is an adequate employer, but needs to improve on employees' compensation/benefits, opportunities for career advancement, and employees overall morale."
What do you like about working at Aldin Associates?
"My coworkers are easy to get along with, and we have a close relationship with each other, like a small family."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"For store associates, the most important thing to know is that there is a ten question math test during the interview, just to see if you can handle simple arithmetic that would be used when handling money. Otherwise make sure to show that you can work well with others and treat customers appropriately, while working in a fast-paced environment."
What don't you like about working at Aldin Associates?
"The upper management has no idea what is going on in their stores and establishes policies and procedures for the store managers and their employees that prohibit them from operating smoothly within their own stores."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The upper management should let the store managers run their stores, rather than trying to run the stores themselves. They should worry less about what is happening on a day to day basis in each individual store, let the store managers worry about that, and they should work on the bigger picture, like getting this company turned around from the downward spiral it is going in."

"I didn't like anything about working for Home Depot. It is fine if you are a high school student for extra money, but not long-term."

"Begin to hold people accountable for their mistakes. Reward those who do their job."

"The advice I have is to do your job, and you will be just fine."
