"I worked there for a year and the people there were nothing short of spectacular"
"I've worked at the North Hagerstown Lowes for three consecutive summers. The other employees there are very welcoming! They welcomed me with open arms, and I consider myself part of the team now. I recommend the job to anyone who needs one."

"Lowe's is an okay place to work for a while if you need time to figure stuff out. Coworkers are all nice and managers are understanding but there's basically no way to advance your career and it gets very irritating working in a retail environment after a few months i.e. most employees look like they would be rather doing anything else."
"A terrible place to work full-time if you are a family person and have a life outside of work. Lowe's would not allow me one night a week for me to be with my youth group. The schedule is awful; 3 different shifts (morning, afternoon, evening) worked each week. This is extremely tiring and unhealthy to the body to not have a normal sleeping and eating schedule. If you work the sales floor you do a lot of housekeeping and returns, and then try to help the customer. But Lowe's does not make that easy with the limited amount of stock on hand and the lack of any training regarding products and installation services. The amount of shoplifting is tremendous. You will pick up several empty packages every single shift. Several store and department managers recently left this particular store in the past month and a half, some took demotions, however turnover has been very high (greater than 50% of people I started with are gone). Last but not least, inventory count is ludicrous (for lack of stronger word) and so you cannot count, literally, on the outdated DOS driven computer system. Lowe's has no idea how much stock they have in their stores."
"Worked part-time at Lowe's from 2011-2014."
"I have worked for lowes for about 6 years. I feel that they are a average company. I feel that its a good job but not a career. I'm looking for a career and somewhere I can grow and move up."
"Lowe's has been an excellent job for me as a part time associate going through college. My supervisors are always willing to offer extra assistance and training if needed and work with my schedule so that I can get everything I need for school finished. Now that I am seeking full time employment, it is becoming harder to work with them and meet my goals. I recommend that anyone seeking employment with Lowe's applies knowing that moving up within the company is easier said than done."
"I have worked for Lowe's since 2011 and it was the best job for someone in college who needed to make a decent living."
"I've worked for Lowe's for almost 3 years. It's a great job to have during college and the employees are all very friendly and helpful. As great as this job has been, it's time for me to move on and pursue a position in my career field."
"Lowe's can provide new experiences working with homeowners and contractors."
