"The amount of driving to run calls and some of the projects they have require really early start times."

"Offer more pay, training, opportunities, room for advancement and permanent opportunities."

"Our contracts do end, thus job security does end, usually at contract end."

"My managers rock! They do a fantastic job, especially in this economy."

"This is a good company for people starting out. Just be honest and do your best."

"Constant pay and benefit cuts due to underbidding work."

"Find better ways to cut cost and try to limit cutting to the point of loosing their experienced techs."

"The job involved many different programs and there were a wide range of troubleshooting issues."

"Be honest about what you don't know, and be clear about how you can help the company maintain the SLA."

"Rewards and recognition for good work was non-existent. The tier II support team was not very helpful."

"Recognize employees for could work, and devote more time to assisting employees with tasks that are outside the level 1 duties and/or access privileges."

"Good steady work fair supervisor, good training, excellent client base."

"Good luck, pay fairly for work done, age discrimination is illegal so is working OT with no pay."

"Would not give me an increase, although I had most # of calls taken and highest customer sat. and exceeded SLAs."

"Get a grip, pay fairly and you will get better people."

"Hired as a contractor, and after 11 months I was hired on full time, leaned a lot."

What do you like about working at CompuCom?

"I liked the atmosphere, the many different projects that we would work on. Learning new things from other people I wanted to learn everything. I got to lead a Team on a weekend shift, and learn even more. I also genuinely liked my boss, and some of the other bosses as well I felt I could relate to them more."

"Research the company before going in. Make sure this is what you want, they do offer education after one has been there for two years."

What don't you like about working at CompuCom?

"Sometimes I would have to spend more time boxing up client devices, and equipment because other workers were not willing to do it or they would disappear. This would keep me from doing actual scriptwriting or networking, and the company had a large shipping department. This company did not give out cost of living raises, only mandatory overtime at a moment's notice. This I guess would be the raise, mean while people where getting burnt out."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"It is hard to run a company, especially when it gets really big. I noticed some office leutents would not finish their job, and I would say they need to keep an eye on these people if they have the time, or they may just run the company into the ground, This company has been bought and sold many times. I do not know if this is the cause of it but it could be something to look into. If you have an employee that is a loyal asset, take care of them, do not let them suffer and lose them."

What do you like about working at CompuCom?

"Work variety every year or so as I moved from account to account was great. Working from the home office for the past 13 years is a great benefit."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be honest with your responses and remain flexible. I found that as with most interviews you just have to maintain an air of confidence and humility."

What don't you like about working at CompuCom?

"The stress from looking for a new account to work on each year in the hopes of timing the jump can be unbearable at times."

"To be more involved with your direct reports careers and performance evaluations and career plans."

"I don't. I hate this company. Worst employer in the history of mankind."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Skip the interview and give them a middle finger. It's the worst place to work and they will ruin your career and once you negotiate your salary, you will stay at that rate. Forget raises, no matter how hard you work."

What don't you like about working at CompuCom?

"The benefits suck, and always ask their employees are they happy when it's obvious they're not. They hire nothing but drug addicts."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get a degree in management. Stop working for compucom and go work for NazI Germany's hitler. you guys belong together."

"The work is interesting and sometimes challenging, as well as informative."

"Make sure you understand exactly the position and the duties including travel and hours."

What don't you like about working at CompuCom?

"The early hours. We start as early as 3 in the morning but you get used to it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I am a remote employee and only hear from them when things go wrong. So I have not heard from them. It would be nice if they call to keep in touch. I know they are very busy and do not want to be a bother by calling them without an issue to resolve."

"Diversity of day to day, always something new to be learned."

"No, other than a great company with opportunity to better your education and certifications."

"Everything has been great, other than the loss of a major Wells Fargo account."

"None, we have great management, great to deal with and can talk to one on one."

"The surprises of learning something new about a current product and the challenges of new product introductions."

"Research the company and ask all the questions that you need, to avoid surprises."

What don't you like about working at CompuCom?

"There is little or no room for career growth and the high cost of medical benefits."

"Don't forget about the persons who directly support manufacturing and constantly have the challenge of not losing focus in a hectic work environment."

"Freedom of working from home and being able to schedule my tasks. My clients are the best."

"Do your job the best you can and provide the highest level of support. Treat the customer as your own, not just another employee."

"Way too many conference calls. Not enough work to fill my days."

"More room for internal growth, and the ability to travel to locations we support as opposed to solely remote access."
