"The company is moving and my job is ending, and we are not being given a severance package."

"Take care of their employees, and listen to their grievances."

"The company was going thru reorganization, and that affected long term decisions."

"The company should have bought Direct TV, and they would have more market share today. They would be able to compete with Netflix."

"You have to enjoy watching movies, your opinion counts a lot, many people depend on it actually, otherwise you get the blame for letting someone rent a really awful movie."

"Nothing that I disliked, except for the benefits that were not offered, otherwise, an awesome job."

"Well, now that they're going in a totally different direction, good luck."

"The other employees. Everyone always had a positive attitude that really made the work day fun, and go by quickly and smoothly."

"Keep in mind with OnDemand and Redbox that the video store industry is losing a great deal of customers. As the customer base thins so do the hours available for employees."

What don't you like about working at Blockbuster?

"I didn't like the shot shifts. I don't like planning my day around a three hour shift."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Instead of having everyone work every holiday, I would suggest a sign up sheet that would allow people to sign up for which ones they would like to work and which ones they would like to have off. I would base the sign up priority upon quarterly sales."

"I have the ability to be creative and work unsupervised."

"Go and find a better company to work for at this time."

"I hate the new parent company. Blockbuster great company. DISH sucks."

"Manager lied to me to keep me on staff. Long commute, only worked part time."

"Next time don't lie, just be honest. Follow through on promises. Integrity is important."
