"Not all projects here are created equal. This is a contracting sort of job, and while some projects are amazing to work for, some are rather difficult."

"The pay is too little to keep the good developers around here. Higher pay would go very far."

"Coworkers seem to be somewhat isolated from one another. I was hoping that there would be more bonding, like going out to lunch with each other for instance."

"Very large and monolithic, policies often seemed to be contradictory and inconsistent. Upper management often appears to be disconnected from workings of company."

"Because of the state budget crisis, there was no raise even if my job performance was outstanding and I was under-compensated."

"This company hires when there is new projects. Once the projects are done, they kick out programmers to save money. Don't plan to work longer with them."

"The greatest learning experiance I have ever had. Learned so much from managing people to wotking with off-shore workers."

"Make sure your smart, agressive, and know your stuff. It was a great company to work for."

"The visionary for the company would constantly change his mind. There was so much waisted time, money, effort and it went for not."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"After a certin point, it was clear that the person with the vision was waisting to much of our time with reworks. We missed a crucial window for product release. My recommendation was to take the project in-house and release the visionary. At first my idea was rebuffed. Then about two months later, the let the visionary go. He cost the project a lot of time and money."

"They laid me off as real estate has taken a downturn."
