"It is great company that is playing catch up with its competitors. Lots of new things happening, but happening slower than they should."

"Hard to move from its roots as a publishing company to software and content company."

"Stop outsourcing core competences, because it is a mess with those products need support or new features.."

"I spent my entire professional life at CCH and I loved it. Started as a junior in college in 1979 and ended as a VP in 2012."

"Be who you say you are, or it will quickly be apparent that you are not."

What don't you like about working at Wolters Kluwer?

"I had a lifetime of great experiences and friendships. we had numerous victories and incredible growth thru the years. Moved to the west coast with the company. My only regret was the elimination of my posiiton."

"Continue to empower employees and you will continue to see great things."

"Good coworkers, plenty of paid time off, plenty of parking"

"Aim for development or sales if you want to feel valued and get paid."

What don't you like about working at Wolters Kluwer?

"Low pay, low advancement opportunities, huge walls between departments, and people whose only qualifications is how many years ago they were hired. Distinct lack of leadership."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Drastically adjust pay upward, lend more attention to customer support, stop sugar coating things that are not sweet, top to bottom review of whether employees are qualified for their position or just have long tenures."

"The flexibility of work location, and the availability of technology."

"Present your skills, but I feel this company really looks at former employer's names.. they appear to be more worried about name recogniztion."

"Not as much travel, and does not seem to be allot of growth opportunities."

"Current management is great, previous management needs to learn about their resources and what they have available to utilize rather than run to outside sources/"

"I liked everything about this job. However, it was just a CO-OP."

"To just relax. The people there are really nice."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would have liked management to hire me full-time."

What do you like about working at Wolters Kluwer?

"They allow flexible work schedules as a general rule. They also give a good amount of PTO and you don't have to wait too long after starting to get PTO."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"look up whatever MBA and technology concepts were in vogue 3-5 years ago and talk about those. They have gone through them all (Six Sigma, Contextual Design, Who Stole My Cheese), but my favorite was that they promoted NASA's faster, better, cheaper after it was abandoned by NASA. They are currently discovering what mobile and cloud mean and love talking about agile development. They never actually implement any of these things properly, but they become popular buzzwords that are thrown around all the time."

What don't you like about working at Wolters Kluwer?

"Having any content knowledge about tax or accounting (the topics for which customers buy their products) is not respected, paid the lowest, and there is no career path for you. However, if you don't have any advanced degrees and you dabble in sales or marketing you can go pretty far. For example, the manager of a graphics design department was able to become the head of tax and accounting's editorial division without any record of success."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Generally, they all fail to show any leadership. The corporate executives are mainly former sales, so they love buzzwords and have little idea of the content or technology which our customers actually pay for or desire. As a result, they constantly fiddle with corporate structure and sales and marketing goals but they fail to give any attention to the nuts and bolts of the business (content, technology, data issues, etc.). Absent a dramatic shakeup in leadership, the company is likely to keep sliding downhill which will further limit opportunities for those who work here."

"I like my colleagues and working environment. My colleagues so kind and the company have standard software for supporting and customizing."

"No, I didn't. Everything I said with true things. What is my experince, which one I can and I cannot. And also I think they like my strive. I think I can do what I try to do it."

"I don't stify with my salar income. And also I need to relocate to another country."

"He must try to reponse employee questions and fix the problem."

"Company focus is on the bottom line, causes them to cut project deadlines."

"Company promoted former PCI employees over better qualified new hires."

"They need to focus on recognizing the contributions of non PCI employees."
