"The more you understand copying and pasting, the better off you are. Realize you won't be doing any actual writing or thinking as a production specialist."

What don't you like about working at Wolters Kluwer?

"They had us fill out time sheets, which were effectively a chance for employees to lie about the amount of time they were actually working each day. The editorial staff is completely out of touch with technology. They've been downsizing since 2007."

"Make a decision about future plans. Employees are constantly on the edge of being let go and it kills motivation and morale."

"Most projects are in .NET and as mentioned many projects use the latest technologies, so keeping abreast with Microsoft and .NET technologies for Developers/Project Leads will help. PMP certified professionals are preferred for PM positions .."

"Sometimes the stress and workload can be very high, which is common in many IT shops, however, this type of stress can be better managed if there is a strong PM on the project"

"No suggestions at this time - due to the many recent changes within the organization - team structure and SDLC processes, improvements are underway"
