"Walgreens is a great company to work for. The leadership is the most welcoming and professional team I've ever worked with. Everyday I walk into a new and different challenge, which I enjoy, and all departments help each other out anyway they can. I would definitely recommend this company!"

"Walgreens is a great place to start when you're in high school not much room for growing. the pay is okay if you don't have a lot of bills. I've been there for 6 years and dealing with the public is very hard and you need a lot of patience, there isn't a lot of respect when it comes to managers."

"I have worked with Walgreens for about 7 years. The experience I gain is more than just customer service, but as well general clerk duty and technologies on a daily basis. This has allowed me to reach higher goals in my work field and be a contribution to my boss and my co-workers. I have seen to look to improve and find the best way to improve that will bring the best of me and allow me to show the importance of company to its customers."

"I worked at Walgreens as a full time job after graduating from college. This job allowed me to pay my bills while I looked for a job in my field of study."

"I have worked for Walgreens for 11 years. First as rph and then was a supervisor. The culture has completely changed. Once I felt that the employees were valued and now, I see that we are just all a number. NOT family friendly at all if you have obligations outside of Walgreens. Upper management at market level horrible. Lied to and set up not to do well. Sad it's come to this....so much potential."

"Now that the Assistant Manager position has all been eliminated I am required to do the same work at MUCH less pay. To move up it's not always about performance but who you know and what managers you work for. They need to recommend you to be promoted. This job may be GREAT for some people, just not me anymore."

"I worked for Walgreen's for over 2 years. The company and the work style they offer is very pleasant and satisfying. While working there, I have been promoted twice and encouraged multiple times for the work I have done. I will continue to prove myself with any employer and show my skill set that I have learned through Walgreen's and many more to come."

"I have worked at Walgreen for 1.5 years. The atmosphere is real casual. I work with a great group of developers but knowledge transfer seems to be lacking and the onboarding process could be better for new hires and entry level programmers."

"I've worked at the company since 2010. The company direction is moving away from it original core value of a pharmacy. Resources are not spent at the retail pharmacy level to ensure congruency and exceptional customer service are achieved. Management is not staffing its departments with the necessary staff to optimal service."
