What do you like about working at The Beam Team?
"Freedom, not always a boss looking over your shoulder. Flexible schedule...get your work done and nobody asks questions."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Interview is easy. If you can breathe and show up to work on time you will get the job."
What don't you like about working at The Beam Team?
"Once you take a job you never get a raise. You will be expected to buy your own tools and nobody cares when they get lost of stolen. Lots of temp workers that the company expects to get as much work as an employee out of. Work is not consistent, so we constantly loose good workers who need to keep the money coming and find someplace more stable."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Give performance evaluations, try to keep the good employees we have by making them feel welcomed instead of trying to see every way to take more money out of the employees pocket and put it in the owners pocket."
What do you like about working at St. Jude Medical?
"Autonomy given to run the business using the the proven skill-set I was hired for."

"Speak with as many people within the specific role and responsibilitiy you are a candidate of and make sure the role, responsibility and experience is what you are looking for."
What don't you like about working at St. Jude Medical?
"Patient care responsibilities during 7day trial and post implant. There really is no time off."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Clinical Specialist responsibilities should be responsible for post implant care of patients so that Territory Managers can focus exclusively on sales and market development."

"Great products and very good sales support. Also good managers."

"Be honest and creative on how you express your success."

"Company has too many managers and compensation plan has been cut."

"Trim down managers and put more emphasis on sales expansion and commissions."

"Had the greatest products.It then instituded a good better and best line.We had always had the best."

"Needs middle management, upper management is not aware of the negative culture."

"Make sure that you work in a division that has a new product so that there is more stability."

"The instability. I was laid off last year but was able to transfer to another territory. I was laid off again this year but no territory was available for me to transfer to."

"Be more transparent to your employees so that they have a better idea of what lies ahead"

"Don't! This is at bet a temporary job as the abuse and micro managing is so intense that one will never last long."

"I was able to sell products that I have always enjoyed and loved. Since I was an athlete all the way through college, this was a job that I enjoyed during my entire tenure. I worked along great people and worked with wonderful accounts that were as dedicated as I was."

"Be yourself and sell yourself, and the opportunities will come!"

"There really wasn't anything that I didn't like other than there weren't many opportunities for growth within."

"As sales reps, we are out on the road every day listening to the needs of both the customer but the end users. At times, it would be beneficial to listen to these needs and customize programs and/or products to service those needs in order to capitalize on additional sales."
