What do you like about working at Suddenlink?
"Nothing at all. They hired in a bunch of managers that did nothing but micromanage"

"Keep your head down and do your job. Do not get involved with the locals because its easy a call center to turn in a high school courtyard"
What don't you like about working at Suddenlink?
"Everything. They promoted based on who they felt would get the job done and it turned out they were awesome at giving the company high turnover rates"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"In the cable industry or call center environment, it would be best to make sure that all associate managers are qualified to handle the task at hand instead of them pawning off their work on others as they take all the credit"

"I enjoy working with up-to-date technology and finding solutions to issues."

"Be happy that you have a chance to work there. It truly is a great opportunity."

"The company is not as customer oriented as I believe they should be."

"Be more proactive about keeping customers better informed on issues that they need to be informed of. (issues that they need to know about in order to keep their servers running properly)"

"The ability to learn and to grow within the company. The enjoyment I had solving issues."

"Ask very detailed questions when inquiring about employment with Newell Rubbermaid. The people I met are wonderful. Unfortunately,the company doesn't respct the employee."

"My one major disappointment with the company that it ended."

"I beleive that when you end a company as abruptly as you have you know only hurt the people, you hurt the customer."

"Pay rate is slow to increase and promotions are rare."

"Every stat and metric is measured and graded. There is no room for individualism, you must fit a specific expectation."

"Never work in the service center because you will never go anywhere unless you kiss the right ass."

"The focus is on metrics instead of customer service. There is more focus on interpersonal feelings and jealousies rather than fixing a problem."

"Enable telecommuting and give more autonomy to tech support reps."

"Great training before hitting the call-center floor. Once on the call center floor, management seemed like they were trying to get people fired."

"Good entry level work, great training to get started on the job. Once in, seemed like the company was doing its best to get you fired."

"Very little communication between exit of training and being given your first week schedule. Had to hunt for a workstation to start work (no assigned workstations). Possibility of not getting same workstation if going for restroom breaks. Many of the workstations were broken, or not configured properly."

"Don't assume all your employees are not experienced in IT."

"Learning new things, and meeting new people is always great."

"Show empathy, and have courtesy for others with technical issues."

"Not being acknowledged for kudos calls that I would recieve."

"Acknowledge your employees for their success, it's for your reputation."

"My coworkers were often helpful and encouraging. I was asked to do some internal promotional artwork for the company at one point."

"It is easy to be hired and it is an easy but thankless job with no sense of achievement."
What don't you like about working at Pace?
"There is little to no room for growth or even incentive for it. The company's other departments were ultimately disjointed, and every employee felt that the policies were getting worse over time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Do not outsource, do not remove the tools that help your agents help your customers, and do not hire bad technicians."

"dont expect much and bad culture, you might want to look somewhere else"

"poor pay, bosses that dont know what you do and the lack of advancement oppurtunities"

"get some technicial people who might be able to recognize talent when they see it - management has no clue who is good at what they do because they are not technical"
