"Compensation package changes often, micro managed, selling a product thats usage has been declining for years with no end in sight (yellow pages)"

"Take the time to really listen to your front line sales people, they will tell you what needs to change in order to re-connect with customers."

"I didn't know the company file for bankrupcty before they hired me."

"None, becausr we were downsized and they filed for bankrupcty ."

"This is a national media company and their first main product was the Verizon Phone Directories, I like the fact they keep evolving with the ever changing marketing landscape"

"Cold Calling is probably 50% of your work week so as long as they are comfortable with that they should do fine."

What don't you like about working at SuperMedia?

"Colorado is an Expansion Division, when they dropped the phone directory in this market they drop the number of Reps to 6... I'm worried about the security of the Denver office"

"More Local support - Once the contract is signed have a local liaison to work with the customer to get all needed infomation to complete the order before handing it off to the Dallas fulfillment"

"There is not one single thing I like about the company. The company will end up going under."

"Do not go to work for this company. It is a bad career move and will be a waste of your time. It is the epitome of red tape."

"The company overall has a lack of vision and poor management."

"Quit trying to sell wagon wheels. Get into new markets."

"I really enjoyed the big-company salary and benefits...a rarity in these times...and the staff is top-notch and cutting-edge. Supermedia treats you like a professional and always seems to have it's act together even throughout these tense economic times."

"It's a great place with a lot of personality. Don't be afraid to show yours!"

"Because Supermedia is a large company, it sometimes seems like an individual gets lost in the crowd."

"It would be great to receive more assurances that the company is growing and/or making efforts to continue growing...especially as it recovers from reorganization."

"The crash of the economy had to lay people off and cause chaos trough the end of my time at the company."

"Outsourcing everything has caused many jobs. I would recommend that management increases on new technology and migration works more efficiently than it did while I was there."

"The broken promises & inconsitency. There is a major communication issue, partially due to only part of the sales force being part of a union. Different rules for different areas."

"I would tell them to get on the same page."
