"At the time I applied with Jockey - Hurricane Katrina had flooded the job market with applicants and I was thankful for the opportunity to work with them. I opened a new store for them and traveled to other areas to turn around problem stores and open other new locations. Great adventure - not enough opportunity long term."
What do you like about working at Army & Air Force Exchange Service?
"AAFES was/is a great company and they took care of me and my family while we traveled around the world."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get on the same page before issuing policies and mandates. Lowe's was great when there were fewer stores and fewer upper management level positions (district, regional levels). Employees were valued more."

What do you like about working at Blockbuster?
"Free movies, working with people, great benefits, awards, annual meetings, and trips to Vegas and theme parks."

"Just go for it and maybe you'll like working for Blockbuster Video, and you will love the free movies you get for working there."
What don't you like about working at Blockbuster?
"Not enough growth opportunity in the company or home state in live in. Corporate opportunities were not sufficient for store managers to acquire."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Upper management should have realistic percentage numbers for each individual store and not go by whole regional percentage numbers."
What do you like about working at Subway?
"Like interfacing many customers, manage the store, train new employees, have the paperwork done and watch how the employees perform their duties."

"Well it is fun to work at this type of place if your management is serious and demanding. Respect the employee rights and give them benefits for their achievements."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Well I believe the management has to be very self confident and have more professionally advanced persons work at a company. But this one has very few people who know what their doing. I suggest they need to train them very well."

"I loved that I was able to help my customers look their best. I love to see my customers happy."
