"One of the worst environments ever."

What do you like about working at Dollar Tree?

"I like retail, but that is the only thing that Dollar Tree has going for it."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Stay away."

What don't you like about working at Dollar Tree?

"Everything, hours are terrible, no authority for the store manager to do anything but cut payroll, you don't get to see a p&l, or actually manager of the business, and I suggest you don't have a family, as with them family should be number 100 on your list behind dollar tree 99 times."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Allow your store managers to be managers, and not just caretakers of a building for a dm."

"The people and the merchandise as well as the growth while employeed"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask how many hours your store runs on and what the break down looks like in schedules for you. New sales model is called C4 and is all about relationships from employee and customer"

What don't you like about working at Famous Footwear?

"Payroll. Minimal stores get 130 hours and this is with a store manager. To make this work, most days the opening manager is alone until 2 o'clock and most lunch breaks are on clock or aloow single coverage again."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be prepared to learn to hold your bladder and not take breaks."
