"For me, this job was a college job to help me work through the expenses of being a student. Starbucks worked with my limited schedule due to classes and provided excellent benefits. This job is however more physically demanding than many realize. People who work here must be able to stand/walk around for 8 hours carrying hot coffee or heavy items. Overall it was a good job for my purposes (with flexible scheduling and benefits) and I would recommend for others in similar type situations."

"Be open to learn and get crossed trained. Don't be shy."

What don't you like about working at Starbucks?

"Lack of help from my regional, I was very understaffed and was overworking my staff too much."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to of your partners and be genuine about their need, ideas & concerns."

"I enjoyed working with my co-workers and serving regulars. It also provided an environment where you were encouraged to be yourself. The fast-paced nature of the job, as well as the amount of responsibilities that were required of me allowed to really grow as an individual who can work in a stressful environment."

What don't you like about working at Starbucks?

"After a while, the job can become very stagnant."
