"I felt really uneasy at taking a job at a credit card company but after working here for 2 years I 100% stand by Capital One's product and recommend them to everyone I know. It's nice to see a company with character and a heart in the financial sector. The strong focus on technology improvements is also extremely welcome to me."

What do you like about working at Wachovia?

"The team was the most professional and competent team I have ever worked with."

What don't you like about working at Wachovia?

"They now have an 18 month rule for consultants, so training is an issue."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Once a person gets trained and can provide value as a consultant, they have a little time left on their contract. It is inefficient to re-train so often."

"The CEO of the company was only looking out for himself and once WaMu was seized, jumped ship without having any remorse for the employees that helped build a strong bank."

"Able to investigate and analyze numerous companies in all kinds of industries."

"Be a pure analyst and ask a lot of questions about the work conditions, reporting relationships, details about compensation, communication approaches by supervision, and explanation of the full range of product services provided by the company. More role playing in the training and a short internship."

What don't you like about working at IPA Business Consultant?

"Poor communications and management skills."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To use their own consulting skills on themselves to improve initial client qualification. There is a significant waste of money in sending out analysts to clients not sufficiently qualificated, because there are high number of no interest by them. The initial traiining was very poor and didn't prepare any of the Business Analysts for what to expect."
