"Schlumberger is by far the biggest company you have never heard of. With over 80,000+ employees world wide, Schlumberger got to where it is by not only delivering excellent quality of service, but always making sure it takes care of its employees. It is the only company in the world where you are EXPECTED to get a raise and promotion, and if you do not, they will make sure they push you to achieve it and always continue to progress in your career. Schlumberger takes care of its people!"

"Schlumberger will not honor their agreement to lifetime medical treatment. If injured they will turn you over to Travelers Insurance which will deny treatment. Complaining to Schlumberger will get you a not our problem. Worker compensation laws will cost you years of legal action even if you have a contract for lifetime treatment. If you get injured sue them for every penny you can get. They do not honor contracts."

"I worked for Schlumberger for 18 years. It is a great company to work for and ample opportunities for advancement. For young engineers just starting their career, Schlumberger would be an ideal place to start. Since it is also a global company, there is opportunities for international assignments. I would still be there if the choice was mine. Manufacturing is slow and there was no available position for me in the Houston area after my international assignment ended."

"I believe Schlumberger is a good company to work for. But I also have seen the down side because I was a supervisor. They compensate you well for the work you are doing and their training is top notch to keep you and your co workers safe while doing your job."

"It is a good company to raise money quickly doing something that can be interesting. Just don't get stuck on the field for more than 3 years, save your money and then move to the office or change career, but do not get stuck in the field, there are more things to do in life."
