"The people that are there are great - easy to build relationships with. This excludes upper management."

"It is a good corporation to be in to get your career started, after that move on as there is not a lot of opportunity for growth unless you are part of the in crowd."

"Upper management and the decisions that they make. Too many changes, that cause low morale."

"You preach that your people are your number one asset - show your people that, walk the walk, don't just use the words."

"Do not settle for anything less than the average salary/rate for the area."

"The asinine policies, and non-policy draconian security restrictions on developers. Inactive Division-level management and a history of inaction from employee complaints."

"Please listen to developer complaints and give them the ability to do their jobs without restriction. Pay your employees at least the average rate for the area."

"Get the most you can when you initially join, raises are 2-3% only (even for outstanding reviews)"

"Lack of upward mobility, too many chiefs and not enough Indians."

"Knock down 35% of your staff, and the company would save a great deal"

"Company was a solid and large government contractor very stablr and openly traded"

"SAIC is an excellent company to work for I would gladly return to work for them but not at my former customer site."

What don't you like about working at SAIC?

"After 7 years of excellent support at the government facility a management change occured which change the enviroment from one of highly supportave and cooperative to a hostile and combative situation"

"None SAIC management team was excellent Management team at the customer site was poor at best in the end"

"High technology environment, many diverse projects available from which to choose."

"Each department is like a separate, independent company of no more than 50-60 people controlled by one manager. Each department can therefore be quite different from others."

What don't you like about working at SAIC?

"In highly classified projects, personnel turnover was very slow, leading to slow adoption of new technologies and continued use of many obsolete technologies."

"Contract job, would like it to be a long term job."

"Hire qualified pepole full time perment, so after you have trained them they do not leave."

"the organization and time management; little communication between upper management and those working on the trucks"

"hold more meetings that include technicians or heed the advice of the technicians to help put trucks out more efficiently"
