"I have worked with SAIC since 1981. It is a great company to work for and I am not wanting to leave my current position. The current management of the project that I am tasked to work on mismanaged some funds and now several employees are without funding. I am willing to use all of the skills that I have learned in the past 39 years and start a new adventure with a different company."

"Normal workday of 8 hours. Many aspects of Government Contracted Labor. Contract Program Management is limited in its effectiveness due to Government restrictions Excellent peer interaction when necessary. Waiting for Federal Government to Communicate/Fund to Contracts Working with the various departments within the company. This has lead to numerous fantastic working and individual connections. Pros Teleworking opportunities, Flex Time, Plenty of Personal leave/sick leave, Great salary. Cons: approval of school reimbursement max is a bit low and health deductions kind of high for family."

"I worked in the position as a QinetiQ employee before switching to SAIC when they "removed" QinetiQ from the project. The work was interesting. My main issue with my supervisor and the development effort is that I was being held responsible to ensuring processes were followed and defects identified, but in reality, he didn't make the programmers follow the processes and he complained that my group was finding too many defects and that programmers didn't have time to address the problems."

"Although I did not work for SAIC long, I would recommend this company to anyone. It was the most fantastic internship I could have asked for. I was challenged to learn so many different things but at the same time was given the freedom to get projects and assignments done at my own pace and in my own ways. I finished all projects on time and even earlier and was always given the opportunity to do more. My co-workers were always helpful and taught me so much. Everyone was quite happy there."

"The ruthless treatment from other groups on the same contract that management allowed...good ole boy network and mentality alive and well there."

"Retake the ethics training and PAY ATTENTION!!!! For all but my supervisor."

"Be positive, assertive, and have all your details and facts on the company reviewed before your interview."

"They did not have a very good EAP when I had some financial hardship."

"Management could have more communication with employees, and be more problem-solving rather than blaming."
