"Listen a little more closely to the employees and what is important to them."

"I dislike the fact that my contract ended. :-("

"I like that's it a low-stress position and that I don't have to dread going to work every day. I am also able to walk to work, so that's a major plus."

"The work can get boring and repetitive at times. I wish there were a little more variety."

"I would try to update the work flow so that there's not as much time and money wasted as there is now."

"Stagnant, disorganized, out of touch, boring, old school, practices are sometimes unethical"

"Focus more on uniting the company and push for the latest technology"

"My job at SAIC is stable, relatively interesting, low stress, and the salary/benefits are competitive."

"The only way to advance very far is to leave the company entirely and try to get hired back a few years later in a better position."

"SAIC corporate has an unbearable bureaucracy. Too much focus on cutting overhead (i.e., everything that makes our lives easier/more pleasant), not enough on cutting dead weight employees that drag everyone else down."

"Focus less on pleasing shareholders. The current strategy is obviously not working."

"Getting paid, flexible hours, having an office, pretty good benefits, some freedom."

"There is a long commute. Sometimes I feel there is too much stress."

"Allow more people to work part time, allow some telecommuting."

"There wasn't anything I did not like. I got to expand my job experience"

"Working for SAIC is very rewarding. The projects I was involved in were extremely interesting and used cutting edge technology."

"No. They definately look at your experience and skills when filling a position."

"The constant treat of layoffs when a project draws to an end."

"SAIC is a service centered company. A few locations/divisions do not fit this mold so the emplyess are constantly in fear of being laid off."

"The support of my supervisor, tuition reimbursement, health benefits, rewards for performance, and coworkers."

"I do not have any tips or suggestions at this time."

"Relocation if a contract ends, moving is not very fun and the logistics and cost is burdensome."

"Compete more aggressively to acquire DoD and DoE contracts and extend their longevity."

"Be open with other business units who go after the same RFPs in order to consolidate effort and expenses to create more win opportunities."

"The multiple departments that went after the same RFPs rather than working as a team."

"Conduct a survey of the same skills across the multiple business lines and consolidate into a focused effort."

"SAIC is an extremely diversified international corporation. They offer many opportunities for growth in the commercial sector. This is not as likley on a government contract such as my curent one with NASA."

"There is nothing wrong with working as a support service contractor within a federal agency. Individuals may enjoy this type of work environment. I prefer to be more proactive and play a key role in helping an organization reach its goals and objectives."

What don't you like about working at SAIC?

"SAIC provides a reasonable rate of compensation and the benefits package is top shelf. Again, growth opportunities are limited on a government contract."

"I have constantly provided suggestions to SAIC management for effecting continuous improvement, cost containment, etc. Most endeavors require the acceptance of the federal government to move forward."

"SAIC is Prestigious company that is one one of the largest employer in SD."

"Be prepared willing to wear different hats the same time"

"lack of support from upper management and no growth opportunities."

"Improvement of division support and establish career paths for the employees"
