"They have terrible territorial problem. Other reps sell into your territory all the time."

"We bought out Ikon,not vice-versa. Give every rep the same commission costs for quoting to be more competitive. Put a full-time manager in my office"

"Too much turnover, poor comp plan, limited client base and opportunity to capture market share and competes with other Ricoh sales organizations that underbid in same deals"

"More training and less finger pointing. Poorly led and lacl leading by example. Very short sighted"

"They stuck to their word on support, territory assignements and were very supportive for unusual sales situtiations. They left me alone and I grew revenues on average 30% annualized. Wish I never left."

"Be prepared for a wild ride as they grow and become the an industry leader."

"Sudden mirco-management implementation came down from corporate. Local management didn't agree, but had to implement. It has since been softened."

"Identigy your key sales people, leave them alone and support them whenever they express a need. Don't try to change behaviors if they are already accomplishing (exceeding) revenue/profit goals."

"If they make you an offer, go back and ask for 15-20% more. If they refuse to budge, walk away."

What don't you like about working at Ricoh?

"Multiple reasons....the biggest is that senior management was untrustworthy and had no clear cut strategy other than to sell copier equipment and to get their bonus. Employees were treated miserably here."
