"Be more open to create a new position for an emplyee who is excellent at what they do, and assist in transitioning them into a new position, to allow for the changes that happen in peoples lives."

"If you aren't a religious fanatic, then don't even apply."
What don't you like about working at Bomgar?
"You have absolutely zero job security and it has turned into a revolving door. I wouldn't work there again, even if I was unemployed. The company culture is that of a religious cult also and can make those that don't think the way they do very uncomfortable. They also don't have enough technical support people to support the growth they want."

"GET BOUGHT OUT AND BECOME A REAL COMPANY."

What do you like about working at Nordstrom?
"I like Nordstrom's consistency in all areas of running a company, and, most importantly, their customer service and how they care about their employees. I love to work with the management team in the accounting department, as I have over 20 years experience in management, mainly in retail and manufacturing corporations, both domestically and internationally. I started as a salesperson while going to college and I had always been among the top producers in any department I had worked. I believe in taking ownership of your career, being a team player, being involved with each department to find what could be lacking to increase sales and have a higher gross margin, and thus, communicating with the associates on the floor who deal with the customers on a daily basis. They are the ones who can give their inputs, which in a way gives them the encouragement, knowing that their opinions do count. In a sense, based on my experience, the more the management is positive and actually listens to the crew, the more productive the whole team becomes. It is the energy which any manager gives out and truly means it and does do the followup with the results consulting with the associates. In a sense, this motivates and gives energy to the whole sales force to stay positive throughout the busy and slow seasons. In my opinion, it is all about the attitude each member of a company presents."
What don't you like about working at Nordstrom?
"Employees at Nordstrom always have to present Nordstrom's image, which is what corporations are about, but at the same token, some of the employees do not earn enough money to buy expensive clothes and may feel that they spend more money on looking good than paying their bills. I do understand that employees get discounts, yet there should be some kind of policy for employees to get more discounts at a certain time of a year."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be more involved. Teach the associates that if a customer walks and looks like that he/she cannot afford the pricing at Nordstrom, let them know that one particular customer could be the one who could make the quota of the day. It is all about perception, and unfortunately salespeople ignore customers whom they believe in their minds may not have the money to spend, and that is why some really wealthy customers just walk out after being ignored. As they say, never judge the book by its cover."

"Be fair to all employees and thank your lucky stars you did not get sued!"

"don't work for this company, mentally it is a unhealthy work environment."
What don't you like about working at National Construction Rentals?
"Being micro managed and being spied on by other employees and the low trailer trash people in the office who can't speak a sentence without swearing. not being accepted by district management for being one of the boys who would not go out drinking and partying."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"You need to get a new district manager. someone who doesn't micro manager, for a company that said run this business as if it were your own that never happened. The trainer needs to train people not intimidate or belittle other co workers. For an office that made goal every month but one and only missed that by $1800 dollars and was told that my region was the only one in the company that was making money I would think that you have looked deeper into what was going on before the actions that you took. I also suggest that you have an exiting interview with a senior HR rep from the head office in California , a lot of things could have been corrected and a lot of good hard working people would still be employed."
What do you like about working at Commerce Energy?
"I was able to keep serving my accounts that I have held for the last 15 years with their natural gas and energy needs."
What don't you like about working at Commerce Energy?
"it seemed the client or customer was last in line. Information was tough to get when needed to help close a deal."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"management is always different with the company your with. I find the best way of working with management is to stay above your qoutas."
