"I love my position, as the receptionist, when a client comes in I am the first impression of the company. I think that is a key role. I love that I am able to work with the sales team and get to know the products we promote and the people I work with. I do have down time so I am able to take an online course that the company has paid for."
"I loved being the first point of contact for Resident and Family members. It was a fulfilling position. The compensation was decent but the benefit of being close to the residents, staff, and their family members was amazing. The only downside is there was no room for advancement within the organization unless another employee was to resign. That was the hardest part of that position."
"I enjoy being an receptionist because I didn't get bored. Besides answering calls and appointment setting, I met new people almost everyday from all around the world. There is always opportunity to learn and advance I enjoyed assisting my coworkers when I could. What I disliked the most would have to be the people who think you are smaller than them. They always think they can do your job better than you. They fail to realize what an important position I hold, being the first point of contact."
"I strive for a position that I can grow with and have promotional possibilities, and unfortunately, there is no where to go after reception. The positives of this position are that I have been able to get to know not only our brand extremely well, but I have been able to assist in various departments with the company. "Great company, friendly environment, everyone gets along really well. Everyone is positive and outgoing. I love coming to work and seeing everyone."

"I do not have anything bad to say about the company. The recruiters work long hours."

"Management has pushed me to become better at what I do, they are always striving for excellence. This has allowed me to realize that I can always be growing."

What do you like about working at Ruby Receptionists?
"Stable employment, Monday-Friday schedule, health and dental after ninety days, paid holidays and leave, BEAUTIFUL offices, extravagant company parties."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"No tips, the interview is vague and straightforward. It rarely delves into the actual job requirements as it is outsourced to a staffing agency."
What don't you like about working at Ruby Receptionists?
"This is a LOW END job. It is essentially a call center with 200-400 calls per day, per receptionist, dressed up as something spectacular, of which they will attempt to convince you from the moment you are hired. The company only hires women and absolutely demands that they fill a silly, childish, and non-threatening role as a Ruby. These demands include maintaining a cute-sie, feminine voice, referred to as Ruby Tone, to handle all calls, as well as fulfilling insincere happy engagements with clients and fellow employees. I observed several receptionists dramatically change tone between actual callers to the office and clients/coworkers. I also observed extremely degrading and unprofessional behavior from the site director and trainer (think fake silly dances and sing-song voices) all in the name of fun."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Insincere cooperation from employees does not equal happiness; you have the right idea, but let employees express joy and appreciation in their own ways. If this is an excellent place to work, as you claim, employee happiness will speak for itself."

"I enjoyed the pay for the position I was working."

"Be prepared to rely only on yourself and definitely not your boss. Make sure that you have thick skin and do not allow yourself to get bullied."
What don't you like about working at Lay Bare?
"The owner was very unprofessional and favored certain employees. Does not know how to run a business and treat employees with respect they deserve. The owner made a few employees feel as if they were disposable and as if they were bad people. Due to favoritism, it divided the staff into two separate groups."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Do not take out your stress on employees and humiliate them in front of all the staff. If you need to speak to them take them to a private setting and not in the front lobby of the business. I would also recomend to take classes on how to run a business properly and be professional. Treat employees with respect."
