"I've worked for Quest Diagnostics for 7 years. Overall the company is stable, however, they are not very progressive. 401K match was 3% but has been suspended during the pandemic, even though the company stock is higher than it has been. They make blatant money grabs, but these keep the company making money and having people employed. Insurance is expensive through the company, and only going up, but lab work is free as long as you use the lab and have insurance through the company."
"The Health and wellness portion of Quest Diagnostics has an excellent mission and has an excellent track record for fulfilling that mission. Their methods are tried and true and often times outdated and difficult. Averse to change but ready to work hard for their clients."
"I have been working since 2014 and my experience has been a mixed bag. There were some amazing accomplishments by our team and also there were situations where we could have done a better job in terms of management, resource retention etc. Company culture was good and I have had a good relationship with employees across teams. Company can improve in handling of long standing employees by rewarding them for their loyalty and hard work."
"It's an excellent place to work."
"I have worked for Quest Diagnostics for just over 10 months and I can honestly say that it is the worst company I have ever worked for. Company time off policies are not properly explained at time of hire: all vacation requests for my department must be put in by September for the entire year coming up and time off is constantly not approved. I have been approved two days off in the 10, almost 11 months I have been there and all of my vacation days for 2015 were denied. There is also constant overtime nearly every day, causing everyone to work 10-11 hours a day with only a half hour lunch. Supervisors get precedence over regular hourly employees when it comes to getting any time off. This is a company that definitely plays favorites. Stay away!"
"I've worked for Quest Diagnostics since December 2012. It's a very cool experience working with my colleagues with friendly environment."
"Very large company, poor management."
